Kathmandu – Leading telecommunications provider Ncell has pledged to rebuild and continue serving its customers after several of its key facilities were severely damaged during last week’s nationwide unrest.
The company confirmed that its head office, Ncell ICON, in Kathmandu, along with regional offices in Mahendranagar, Dhangadhi, and Pokhara, were targeted in acts of vandalism, causing extensive physical damage and posing serious risks to employee safety and service continuity.
Free Calls, SMS, and Internet Amid Crisis
Despite the destruction, Ncell maintained uninterrupted service across the country. To ensure customers stayed connected during the crisis, the company provided free local voice calls, SMS, and internet services for three days. “For the past two decades, Ncell has been committed to serving the people of Nepal. Our actions during this crisis reflect our unwavering dedication to supporting our customers and communities in times of need,” the company said in an official statement.

As Nepal transitions under the leadership of newly appointed Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Sushila Karki, Ncell extended its congratulations to the interim government.
