Kathmandu – Nebula Energy, the authorized distributor of Gogoro scooters in Nepal, has introduced the country’s first electric two-wheeler buyback guarantee, marking a significant step in customer assurance and boosting confidence in the shift to sustainable mobility.
Under the new program, Gogoro pledges a guaranteed buyback value of NPR 1 lakh within five years or 40,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. The initiative officially rolled out on August 4, 2025, and positions Gogoro as the first EV scooter brand in Nepal to offer such resale value protection.
A common concern among EV buyers is battery degradation, which often impacts resale prices. Gogoro’s battery swapping system addresses this challenge by separating battery ownership from the scooter purchase. Riders access a network of smart, company-managed batteries, ensuring consistent performance without the burden of battery health concerns.
“Gogoro is here to build the future of mobility in Nepal,” said Chiranjibi Shah, General Manager of Nebula Energy. “From the outset, we invested in building a robust citywide network of 45 battery swapping stations. Today, we are extending that commitment further with the buyback guarantee.”
