KATHMANDU: Anjan Shrestha, the candidate for the position of Senior Vice President, and his team have registered their nominations for the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) on April 12.
The team, which included Shrestha, the senior Vice Chair candidate, reached to FNCCI in Teku and registered the collective candidature of all the candidates in their group.
Arun Sumargi of Shrestha’s group has filed his candidacy for district city Vice Chair, while Manish Lal Pradhan has filed his candidacy for substantive candidate.
Bharatraj Acharya, in collaboration with Anjan Shrestha Group, has registered his candidacy for the post of Vice Chair from an independent panel, alongside Prabaljung Pandey of Anjan Group and other candidates.
Similarly, the objective group’s panel members registered their nominations on the group’s behalf.
Shrestha, a candidate for the position of senior vice president, stated after registering his candidacy that he has submitted his candidacy to take the federation to new heights and to enhance the organization’s professional capacity as well as institutional effectiveness.
“When the economy is stagnant, the problems of businessmen should be heard and for this the Federation should be made accessible to industrialists at all levels,” said Shrestha, “there is a need for leadership to speed up the organization with the youth’s enthusiasm and vigour.”
He stated that his team will move forward on the basis of sympathy and cooperation, and that every industrialist in the federation will be recognized.
